Lake Winds is a concert band located in northern Lake County, Florida.

Our musicians are 9-18 year olds that are either home schooled or attending a private school that does not offer a music program.

Our accomplished band director, Wes Locke, provides the opportunity to experience the joy of making music and becoming musicians.

Well, summer is almost over and our next season of rehearsals is about to kick off! We have had some very productive rehearsals this summer and I think when the band gets back together as a whole for our fall rehearsals everyone will notice an improvement in how we sound!

Beginners Meeting!
Let me start by apologizing to anyone who came to the church on Monday the 18th for a Beginners Meeting! We moved the meeting due to a couple of factors and I tried to contact everyone who I thought was coming, however I neglected to get the date changed on our website. I am sorry if this inconvenienced anyone!

We will hold an informational meeting for anyone interested in joining the Lake Winds Beginning Band on Tuesday, August 26th, at 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Eustis. We are excepting students from age 9 and up who would like to learn to play a band instrument. No prior experience is necessary.
